A project to celebrate with Wallpaper* magazine the 10th edition of Handmade. This year dedicated to love.
The sensation of skin touching skin together with the idea of a brick (thinking of it as one of the most simple and universal construction elements), were the two main triggers that inspired this project. And this is why I have worked alongside the Spanish furniture brand Missana to create this hide-lined blocks; the soft leather is intended to create a sensual feeling in the hand of the holder, while also taking on marks and blemishes over time.
