The TERRA family is inspired by the Earth´s geography. More specifically, in a system of hills rising gently above the surface of a lush land full of life. At least that is the image I pictured in my mind and became my guide during the conceptualizing process.
TERRA is also the direct translation from Spanish to Valencian of the word Tierra (Earth) Not only referring to the origin of the design but also to the geographical and cultural roots of Missana.
Under the simple premise of being visually lightweight and timeless, the final result is this upholstered family consisting of a one, two and three seater sofas, a dining chair and barstool.
